Carter, James
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an Irish Wesleyan minister, was born in Tentore, Queen's County. He entered the ministry in 1797; retired from the active work in 1837; resumed it, and again retired on account of an accident in 1841, and died July 31, 1844. He was "a true witness for his Lord."
