Brame, John Todd, Sr.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Caroline County, Virginia, in August 1792. He professed conversion in his fourteenth year, and in his twenty-third year entered the Virginia Conference, wherein he served until his death, September 29, 1819. Mr. Brame possessed an amiable and cheerful disposition, agreeable manners, good natural talents, and a fair degree of culture. He was earnest and successful in his ministry.
