Blatchford, Samuel
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Baptist minister, was born in Plymouth, England, where he was educated and ordained as a Dissenter. He came to America in 1795, and after a residence of one year at Westchester, N. Y., he was called to Greenfield, Conn. He afterwards settled at Bridgeport, Conn., and in 1804 was called to Lansingburg, N. Y., where he died, Feb. 17, 1828. See Christian Watchman, March 28, 1828.
