a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was a native of Maryland. He removed to Louisville, Ky., in 1862, and there in 1864 was converted, united with the Church South, and in 1868 entered the Louisville Conference. He entered the work heartily and with great energy, and thus continued, leading many to Christ, until a short time previous to his death by paralysis of the brain, in 1874.
