Bennet, Robert D.D.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an English Nonconformist divine, was educated at Oxford, and was presented to the rectory of Wadesden, Buckingham, where he continued till he was ejected for nonconformity in 1662. He afterwards settled at Aylesbury, where he preached privately to a small congregation, and from thence removed to Abington, where he died, April 6, 1687.
