a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Maryland, May 22, 1823. He entered the Baltimore Conference in 1845; was appointed presiding elder of Juniata District in 1865; elected to Chicago General Conference in 1868; removed to Iowa in 1876, and died in that state, at Red Oak, while presiding elder of Council Bluffs District, May 8, 1880.
