Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Βαρηκά ), a village mentioned by Eusebius as lying near Azotus (Onomast. s.v. Βαρακαί ); probably the present village Burka, an hour north-east of Esdtd (Van de Velde, Memoir, p. 291). (See BENE-BERAK).
