Azzan
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Hebrews Azzan', עִזָּן, perhaps a thorn; Sept. Ο᾿ζάν v. r. Ο᾿ζάν ) the father of Paltiel, which latter was the commissioner from the tribe of Issachar for dividing the land of Canaan (Numbers 34:26). B.C. ante 1618.
