a Congregational minister, was born in 1713, and graduated at Yale College in the class of 1730. He was ordained in 1738, and became pastor of the Church in Deerfield, Mass. He died in 1780. He is said to have "possessed a strong and discerning mind and a lively imagination, and was a pungent and energetic preacher.
