(or rather Asai'as, Ἀσαϊ v ας ), one of the " sons" of Annas that divorced his Gentile wife after the exile (1 Esdras 9:32); evidently the ISHIJAH (See ISHIJAH) (q.v.) of the genuine text (Ezra 10:31).
