(Heb. Ariday', אֲרִידִי, of Persian origin, perhaps meaning strong; Sept. Ἀρσαῖος ), the ninth of the ten sons of Haman, slain by the Jews of Babylonia (Esther 9:9). B.C. cir. 473.
