Andrews, William (3),

a Congregational minister, was born at Ellington, Conn., Sept. 28, 1782. He graduated at Middlebury College in 1806; studied theology with Dr. Burton, and was ordained pastor at Windham, Conn., in 1808. In 1813 he was installed at Danbury, and in the year following at South Cornwall, where he remained until his death, Jan. 1, 1838. He was a man of grave deportment, good learning, and sincere piety."
