(Hebrew Achlay', אְְחליְ, perh. ornamental), the name of a woman and also of a man.
1. (Sept. Ἀαδαϊ v v. r. Δαδαί .) The daughter and only child of Sheshan, a descendant of Judah, married to her father's Egyptian slave Jarha (q.v.), by whom she had Attai (1 Chronicles 2:31; 1 Chronicles 2:34-35). B.C. prob. ante 1658.
2. (Sept. Ο᾿λί v. r. Ἀχαϊά .) The father of Zabad, which latter was one of David's body-guard (1 Chronicles 11:41). B.C. ante 1046.
