a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was born in Baltimore, Md., Oct. 12, 1822. He emigrated to Texas in 1835; was converted in 1844; in 1848 was received on trial in the Texas Conference, and. in its active ranks was faithful until 1858, when he supernumerated, which relation he sustained until his sudden death, Jan. 21, 1870.
