Adam of Marisco

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

was an English Franciscan of Oxford, known as Doctor Illustratus. He flourished in the 13th century, and wrote on the Song of Solomon, St. Dionysius the Areopagite, and on the Master of the Sentences.
