ā´mok ( עמוק , ‛āmōḳ , "deep"): A chief priest who came to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel (Nehemiah 12:7 ) and the forefather of Eber, who was priest in the days of Joiakim (Nehemiah 12:20 ).
