Brattishing
1911 Encyclopedia Britannica
or Brandishing (from the Fr. breteche), in architecture, a sort of crest or ridge on a parapet, or species of embattlement. The term, however, is generally employed to describe the ranges of flowers which form the crests of so many parapets in the Tudor period.
