(n.) Want of ardor, animation, vivacity, etc.; coldness of affection or of manner; dullness; stiffness and formality; as, frigidity of a reception, of a bow, etc.

(n.) The condition or quality of being frigid; coldness; want of warmth.

(n.) Want of heat or vigor; as, the frigidity of old age.
