(n.) A person meanly close and covetous; one who spends grudgingly; a stingy, parsimonous fellow; a miser.

(v. t. & i.) To act the niggard toward; to be niggardly.

(a.) Like a niggard; meanly covetous or parsimonious; niggardly; miserly; stingy.
