(n. pl.) A group of edentates, including the ant-eaters.

(n. pl.) One of a group of hymenopterous insects whose larvae feed parasitically upon living insects. See Ichneumon, 2.

(n. pl.) A group of marsupials which are partly insectivorous, as the opossum.
