In connection with Ophel, there is mention made of "a tower that lieth out," Nehemiah 3:26, and there is no unlikelihood in connecting this projecting towe, r with the tower in Siloam, while one may be almost excused for the conjecture that its projection was the cause of its ultimate fall.
