Those angels who compose the highest choir in the lowest order of angels. With the archangels and angels, they constitute that heavenly multitude who are God's ordinary and immediate servants in the concerns of the visible world. It is probable, too, that to certain of the Principalities, God has assigned the care of countries and kingdoms.
