Prince of Peace
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
A title of Christ in the prophecy of Isaias 9. The future Messianic kingdom would be characterized by peace; the same feature is dwelt on in Isaias, 11. The peace described in this passage will only be fully realized in the final form of the Messias's kingdom, i.e.,in heaven.
