1910 New Catholic Dictionary

Association of priests founded at Rome in 1906 under the Fathers of the Blessed Sacrament, and elevated to an arch-confraternity by Pope Pius X. Its purpose is to spread the practise of frequent and daily Communion among the faithful. The requirements for entering the league are:

Special privileges and indulgences are enjoyed by the members of this association, and persons confessing to priests in the league may gain a weekly plenary indulgence provided they communicate very often.
