Pisa, Italy, Archdiocese of

The city is said to have been evangelized by Saint Peter the Apostle and Saint Pierinus. Its first bishop was probably Gaudentius in 313. Elevated to an archdiocese on April 21, 1092. Suffragen dioceses include
