Comprises Baker, Crook, Deschutes, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Hood River, Jefferson, Klamath, Lake, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Wasco, and Wheeler counties. Founded on June 19, 1903 as the diocese of Baker City. Name changed to the diocese of Baker on February 16, 1952. Suffragan of the archdiocese of Portland.
