Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible
GALLIM (‘heaps’). A place near Jerusalem ( 1 Samuel 25:44 ). It is personified, along with Anathoth and other towns, in Isaiah 10:30 . It is generally placed to the N. of Jerusalem, but the exact site is unknown.
