Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible
CLEMENT . The name of a fellow-worker with St. Paul ( Philippians 4:3 ). There are no sufficient grounds for identifying him with Clement, bishop of Rome, the writer of the Epistle to the Church of Corinth .
