(zehr' eh ruh) Site on the route by which the defeated Midianites fled from Gideon (Judges 7:22; KJV, Zereath); possibly a variant rendering of Zarethan (Joshua 3:16; 1 Kings 4:12; 1 Kings 7:46 ) or of Zeredah (2 Chronicles 4:17 ). See Zarethan .
