Zephon
Holman Bible Dictionary
(zee' fahn) Personal name perhaps meaning, “north.” Eldest son of Gad and ancestor of the Zephonites (Numbers 26:15 ). The Samaritan Pentateuch and the earliest Greek translation support the identification with Ziphion (Genesis 46:16 ).
