Holman Bible Dictionary
(zih boh' ihm) Place name meaning, “hyenas” or “a wild place.” Not to be confused with Zeboiim. 1. One of the towns the Benjamites occupied upon returning to Palestine from Exile (Nehemiah 11:34 ). It may be khirbet Sabije. 2. A valley in Benjamin between Michmash and the wilderness overlooking the Jordan River (1 Samuel 13:17-18 ). It may be wadi el-Oelt or wadi Fara.
