Tartak
Holman Bible Dictionary
(tahr' tak) Deity worshiped by the Arvvites whom the Assyrians settled in Samaria after 722 B.C. (2 Kings 17:31 ). The name is otherwise unattested and is likely a deliberate corruption of Atargatis, the Syrian high goddess and wife of Hadad.
