Sinite
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ssi' nite) People from a city-state controlled by Ugarit, the Hittites, and the Assyrians whose inhabitants descended from Canaan (Genesis 10:17 ). It is in northern Phoenicia near Arqa, either Siyanu two and a half miles east of Gebala or Shen south southeast of Halba.
