Holman Bible Dictionary
(ree' fan) Term for a foreign, astral diety (Acts 7:43; NAS, Rompha). Acts 7:1 follows the earliest Greek Old Testament translation reading at Amos 5:26 . The Hebrew Masoretic text reads Kaiwan, the Babylonian name for Saturn.
