Abel-Mizraim
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ay' behl-mihz' ray' ihm) Place name meaning either “brook of Egypt,” or if derived from a different Hebrew word with similar spelling, “mourning of the Egyptians.” Jacob's children mourned him there east of the Jordan (Genesis 50:11 ). In giving the name the Canaanites identified Jacob's sons as Egyptians.
