Holman Bible Dictionary
(lyoo' bim) Racial name of uncertain meaning apparently applied to all white North Africans, especially the inhabitants of Libya (2 Chronicles 12:3; 2 Chronicles 16:8; Daniel 11:43; Nahum 3:9 ). Many English translations read Libyans. See Libya .
