Holman Bible Dictionary
(jyoo' day ihssm) The religion and way of life of the people of Judah, the Jews. Paul contrasted his Christian calling from his previous life in Judaism (Galatians 1:13-14 ). Foreigners could convert to Judaism. See Proselytes; Jewish Parties in the New Testament .
