(jih hoy' aw rihb) Personal name meaning, “Yahweh creates justice.” 1. Priest who was one of first settlers to return to Jerusalem from Babylonian Exile about 538 B.C. (1 Chronicles 9:10; compare Nehemiah 12:6 ). 2 . Head of first course or division of priests (1 Chronicles 24:7; compare Nehemiah 12:19 ). This listing follows Hebrew text.
