Holman Bible Dictionary
(jay' uh luh) Personal name meaning, “female ibex.” A member of Solomon's staff whose descendants joined Zerubbabel in returning from Babylonian Exile about 537 B.C. (Ezra 2:56; Nehemiah 7:58 , which has an Aramaic ending rather than the Hebrew ending of the Ezra passage).
