Irnahash
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ir nay' hassh) Place name meaning, “city of the snake” or “city of bronze.” Modern deir Nahhas about five and one half miles north of Lydda or khirbet Nahash on the northern end of the Arabah. 1 Chronicles 4:12 lists it as a personal name in the descendants of Judah, using the device of the “Table of Nations” ( Genesis 10:1 ) and other passages of listing cities by original ancestors in the form of a genealogy.
