Holman Bible Dictionary
(hyoo' ram) Personal name probably shortened from Ahuram meaning, “exalted brother.” 1. Chronicler's spelling of Hiram, king of Tyre (2 Chronicles 2:1 ). Also the Chronicler's form for Hiram, the artisan King Hiram sent to help with the metal work on the Temple (2 Chronicles 2:13 ). See Hiram . 2.
