Hoof
Holman Bible Dictionary
A curved covering of horn protecting the front of or enclosing the digits of some mammals. According to Mosaic law, ritually clean animals are those which both chew the cud and have cloven (divided) hooves (Deuteronomy 14:6-7 ).
