Hazar-Susah
Holman Bible Dictionary
(hay' zahr-ssyoo' ssuh) Place name meaning, “encampment of a horse.” Town in tribal allotment of Simeon (Joshua 19:5 ). As most towns of Simeon also appear in Judah's allotment (compare Joshua 19:1 ), many Bible students think this is another name for Sansannah in Joshua 15:31 . Instead of the feminine form Susah, 1 Chronicles 4:31 has the plural form Susim. It may be located at Sabalat Abu Susein.
