Deuel
Holman Bible Dictionary
(deeyoo' ehl) Personal name meaning, “God knows.” In Numbers 1:14 , the father of Eliasaph, the leader in the wilderness of the tribe of Gad. Numbers 2:14 identifies Eliasaph's father as Reuel. Deuel and Reuel may be alternative forms of the same name, probably representing a copyist's misreading of Hebrew “d” and “r,” which are quite similar.
