Demas
Holman Bible Dictionary
(dee' muhss) A companion and co-worker of Paul the apostle (Colossians 4:14 ). Though in Philippians 1:24 Paul identified Demas as a “fellow-labourer,” 2 Timothy 4:10 indicates that this man later deserted Paul, “having loved this present world.”
