Booty
Holman Bible Dictionary
Spoils taken by individuals in battle. Includes anything that might be of value or use to the captor including persons (Numbers 31:53; Jeremiah 15:13; Ezekiel 25:7 ). Booty is distinguished from spoil in the sense that booty was that taken by individual soldiers whereas spoil was plunder taken by the victor nation as a right of conquest.
