Holman Bible Dictionary
(bee' uhr-ee' lihm) Place name meaning, “well of the rams, the heroes, the terebinths, or the mighty trees.” Place involved in mourning according to Isaiah's lament over Moab (Isaiah 15:8 ). It is probably the same as Beer (Numbers 21:16 ), where Israel sang the song of the well. The location may be in the wadi et-Temed, northeast of Dibon.
