Holman Bible Dictionary
(assh' nah) Place name, 1. A city in the valley of the tribe of Judah (Joshua 15:33 ), possibly modern Aslin. 2. A second city in the valley or shephelah of Judah (Joshua 15:43 ), possibly modern Idna, about eight miles northwest of Hebron.
