Asenath
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ass' eh nath) Egyptian name meaning, “Belonging to Neith” (a goddess). Wife of Joseph and daughter of a priest in Egyptian temple at On or Heliopolis. Asenath was Pharaoh's present to Joseph (Genesis 41:45 ). She was mother of Ephraim and Manasseh (Genesis 41:50-51 ).
