(ay' neer) Personal and place name. 1. An ally of Abraham in the battle against the coalition of kings in Genesis 14:1 . 2 . A city from tribe of Manasseh given to Levites (1 Chronicles 6:70 ). In Joshua 21:25 the Levites' city is called Taanach. See Taanach .
